A 3 floor residential building is designed where a small traditional Spanish house used to stand. We managed to fit one apartment per floor featuring exclusive spaces, despite the reduced dimensions. The inner patio becomes a decorative element with a contemporary brise-soleil that filters the view, controls lighting, and gives an iconic character to the dwellings. It then becomes a careful environment that allows a visual expansion of the apartment, not a mere functional ventilation patio.
