The building was originally an old farm barn which had only its rusty structure left standing. Our project was to reconvert the barn into an exclusive 5 star hotel. Our main goal was to keep the spatial qualities of the barn while introducing the program requested. It was also important for us to leave the structure seen and blending the old and the new in a unique space. In this project the space is as important as the materials used which confers personality to the rooms: natural and warm materials which are the typical used in the local traditional architecture. Those materials grant a human scale to the complex.
