House in Marrakech

A one-hectare plot in the middle of the desert. Spectacular and stunning views. We had the opportunity to enhance the virtues of the terrain in Marrakech from scratch. We designed a large house so that it would integrate with both the culture and the landscape. To do this, we simulated an Arab city, playing with different volumes, where each volumetry is destined for a specific space and use: living room, room several meters high that serves as a location point and bedrooms. We use local materials and construction techniques: from rammed earth walls, local cup stone, lime mortar... This combination of traditional techniques with the courtyard house is articulated with windows that encourage views thanks to a highlighted orientation.
